Aboard - if it jumps cleanly them safe to say it possibly finishes in the first 3... got 20/1 the drum this morning too :((

She didn’t need to take off at the 1000 then restrain and go again at the 600. Very few can make multiple runs.

nope I wouldn't have way too short a price and i'd wanna see a better jock on it (no disrespect)

Hopefully someone stuck solid. We're actually going really well but as I said, I'm not great on strike rate because I like good odds.

Not normally but thought it'd win or run 2nd to Laverrod.

Nice tip @Rodent wish I saw it earlier!

I have notifications set to send to my email when a post or comment is made yet got nothing yesterday when rodent tipped it.. a lot of people would have missed it yesterday with Saturday being on of the quieter days online
  • RodentRodent    7,457 posts
That's a shame. I posted the tip at 1.59pm WST which was 15 minutes before betting closed. Usually that'd leave plenty of time to get set.

Was tipped in the Ascot thread Friday night..twice!! LOLO
  • hashhash    7,495 posts
Lol once you mean... you said Laverod hard to beat although you did agree with piker but your push was hardly a tip more so agreeing with his thoughts
Well found by both of you nonetheless

Tipped by Piker endorsed by me(not that im a great judge I'll concede that)with facts why imo it could test the fav hash..kicked its arse in hindsight..cheers.

Surely Kellys Gem gets the chockies in the last tomorrow!?!?

She hasn't won since July 2018
    @-)
Drawn the inside and the in form W.Pike back on board. Hasn't been too far away this prep and I'll be backing her to win.

The other one I'm going to have a little bit E/w on is Ten Carat in race 8. The much travelled Fastnet Rock 5yo, didn't set the world on fire during his first prep in the West. Did finish his trial off nicely a few weeks back without being extended. Wide gate and will only improve on what he does here.

Moondyne Joe in Race 2 at Geraldton tomorrow at 15's. The fave at odds on
    [-X
  • ThunderstruckThunderstruck    7,696 posts
Yep Odds on look on at "gelignite" gero..Same race I've got one even rougher, Nobel Rize whom has form behind Paty's Forcast(who has since placed at Ascot and then won again at Pinjarra)
He ran on like 1400 will suit 2nd up and is an e.w chance of an upset I reckon.

    A nice little race to snag a tri or 1st 4  :-\"

I also like another one of Lucy's rides, Defiantly in the last.

That's about it for me... plus the usual quaddie donation.
    1.4.5.6 / 1.4.8.9 / 1.6.8.9 / 2.4.7.8.10.... I'll go for around 10%
  • SKIDSSKIDS    1,006 posts
Geez, they're crunching this favourite in race 2... Can't see why?
It's 2 placings have been in pleb maiden fields. It ran a third to Written Law, which has since run 5th ( 8 Lengths) then 10th ( 6 lengths). It's 2nd was to Full Quid, which has since run last ( 176 lengths) and easily won a trial against a pretty average bunch.
Ah well, we'll see.... I wouldn't back it at $1.65 with monopoly money.
  • ThunderstruckThunderstruck    7,696 posts
1.55 now, it might well win but at nearly 2s on I would never contemplate it either.
  • ThunderstruckThunderstruck    7,696 posts
The crapola ride helped to get it rolled..Yuill salutes again!! Ffs she wins on the stablemate of the camel I tipped..double for the trainer too.

You'll be waiting a while to see a ride as poor as that one. Should have won if ridden half decent, that was pathetic, he should go home now.

You’ll find that possibly they were the instructions, keep the horse wide from that gate and out of trouble.. but not as wide as he was then it didn’t help his case being flushed 18 wide on the home turn

With ya on that skids, incredible how embarrassing that ride was!
Horse tracks up without any issues last start, couldn’t track up to hold the maley runner on the inside this time in. Anyone notice what price that ended up on the tote?
