The other thread so not to post on Rodents thread

West Australian Racing
Are some people on here plain dumb or just stupid. A bloke who makes a living of the punt is trying to give us a leg up but some people just don't seem to be able to understand. Here I will make it easy for you . DO NOT POST INTO RODENTS THREAD. Surely it's not that hard

I think Chris was first...Then SG or S or Blueface, Then Falc...But who really is keeping tabs???? hahaha

I agree Spinkster......an opportunity to see the occasional direction a working punter goes for is very tempting. His pride will be too great to not put his winning bets up, so i'd be really surprised if we dont finish in front after every group of 10 tips

Imagine if I was that good and that popular! In all good conscience I back my horse at $4 and tip it when $4 is still available. I then end up laying it at $1.40. Easy money.
Fear not as all my tips will have a recommended price. Also, I don't expect people to be checking in all the time and seeing nothing. I will try to give lots of notice if it looks likely there'll be a strong tip.
I might say "make sure you check in for race 5 today" or something like that.

There is a guy on here from Melbourne who was a pro punter all his life, until he retired in his early 50's. Lets just sy taht he rarely gave a tip on here...or in fact anywhere.

But as a pro punter he'd regularly say if you can get on this horse at this price you'll get a lot better return that you should. So sometimes you were backing $1.50 favourites that he thought the price should be $1.35...And other times your backing $16 roughies that he thought should be $5.50. Basically backing the overs

I know if i see the tips in time i will be backing them every time. The same as i did when Fastmoney used to give me a tip. They put in too much time and effort to not get it right most times.I'll have the same bet every time and i'll be more surprised if I'm not in front after every 10 tips, than if i'm not.

Quickly watched a replay of its previous fourth, not bad, not bad at all. Think with a bit of even luck today would've at least run a ticky.

Was right in it with 100m to go. Nice tipping

Bit unfortunate that the horse he got some cover behind, Fair Nikita could not drag him into the race at all around the corner. It was going nowhere . Might run a ticky if that happened

Was on and agree great run for a $50 shot with valid excuses which everyone has acknowledged. Rodent this is a great audience to be tipping these to keep them coming......

I’m sure others here will agree tip your non race following mates a $50 shot that doesn’t win and you get bagged cause they expected it to win like an odds on pop. Had a mate tell me he’d never listen to my tips again because I tipped him Kay Cee in the Guineas when she missed by a lip. We know what happened next start

Sorry for not posting but I'm a bit gunshy at the moment. I can't find anything I like enough to dive into. I am trying to avoid 4 losers in a row.

does it matter what price it is, i'd rather an even money winner rather than a 50/1 runner priced at 10/1 that runs 4th.... what would your best of the day be (non price dependant)

That's the dilemma. I'm happy to back several in a race at decent prices. When it comes to tipping I can tip plenty that are overs but the strike rate will be terrible (even though good enough to make a profit).
Perhaps I should tip my best chance to win selections in this thread and my suggested bets in the other?

anything you can supply us would be appreciated, no one will be complaining at the results at the end of the day it's up to each personally how or what they decide to invest

i'm just intrigued to see your selections

many many years (possibly a decade) ago Carey used to put some tips up and the odd spreadsheet but it was his tips that i'd follow closely at their next few runs and quite often than not they'd be thereabouts

I had a quick look through the old blackbook that hasn't been used for nearly 10 years and there was even one I marked that you had tipped  :)>-

Hope some forumites backed up on Rodents tip of Zachariah Baeu. It was flying and nearly got the chocolates at 40s in the last today.

I rated it a $12 chance today. It would have been a very nice result  :(
