Be interesting to see the tactics employed by the cerise and white...... wonder if one goes to the front again

Agree, however these tactics benefit the field in general don't they? It's luck in running that is the ultimate factor to me.

This time its 11 other horses against The Cerise and white instead of 3 Cerise and white against 4 others.be enteresting tactics.maybe The Big Show, the front runner.but i guess the draw will determine.

Getting a flight might be the issue after racing yesterday, but they only just paid up for the late fee. Interesting runner if he does come across as on yesterday's run, he would give this a shake.

Listening to tab radio the other day they were talking about Tiger Tara coming over for the pacing cup and I think they said he was booked on a flight some time next week so if there is a flight Khartoum might be lucky.

Action Jackson into a clear cut favourite for the Cup and looks like will run favourite with a reasonable barrier draw.
After last Saturday like the three big guns (stating the obvious ) - Gatting, Mississippi, Action. Finding it difficult to seperate them.
Have a healthy respect for up and comer The Big Show to match it with them.

The roughies keen on are Prize Catch, Elegant Blast and the enigmatic Star Exhibit.
    That's seven of them!

Might be an average race - but it's a terrific betting spectacle and that's what racing is about - 16 horses and wide open. How racing should be!

Why would young Fred come back home to run with this lot when he can race with the best in Australia? I would say he could learn a lot more in the east then here.

  • H-BOMBERH-BOMBER    10,567 posts
Unless it goes to a 76 rating after the weekend and scrapes in
  • ChelseaChelsea    1,369 posts
Khartoums rating now a 78,6 points for winning on the weekend.

Why does Queen Bey get a start over Brothers Keeper?

    That is gender discrimination.
Anyway; what an unusual prep; no race for 4 weeks before PC.

Why should Brothers Keeper even be considered a start? It's only a 75 rated horse that by running is denigrating a Group 2 further into the ditch.

RWWA need to get into the business of turning away nominations from poorly performed horses. Nothing under 80 should be getting a start and that is being generous.

The Big Show that's one hell of a massive drift in the betting, it's been a market a bit like that though.

In relation to Khartoum what a bonanza for bookmakers if he wins - considering hasn't been in Tabtouch betting markets for at least 90% of the time ( or bet365 ) made him very difficult to bet on.

If he happens to win the Cup all futures money on other horses should be refunded!
