Credit where it's due.
And now maybe they will look at there selection process, definately horses there who shouldn't have been,1 finishing 18 Lenths from the winner, thats only one and others that should have been in unfortunately had to go to unsuitaablr races to try for a start in the Kingston Town, when is someone going to start to think about the owner and trainer,it just gets so frustrating the programeing for trainers, should have been a 1600 consolation race yesterday for ones who missed out on Railway, how about someone thinking about it.

Don't blame me. I only used that Jedi mind trick on Sunline before Defier smashed her in the George Main Stakes. >:)
Bar Moriarty, MM ran home his last sectional better than any other horse carrying the same weight. Given he wasn't beaten all that far I wouldn't right him off going into the KT. FF's form going into the race wasn't overly bad, I would have thought they were entitled to be disappointed in the run. Going on its last run I probably wouldn't have thought it would have been beaten 181/4
The camps demeanour was also totally different to flemington where they were full of smiles joking etc totally different to yesterday IMO they were obviously worried hardly talking to each other with worried looks I didn't see one smile or much humor
I came back to see him Pre parade an he was worse an just not the same in demeanour as he was in the parade ring at Flemington just different
I walked up to the main ring an he was just not himself or the horse I saw in the box an ring at flemington
I went up to the members to watch the race an I knew me an everyone else had done there Dough before he ran I thought he was off but I'm no expert just a long time punters view who enjoys watching horses parade
If I could have canceled my bets I would have on what i saw
I just watched the Emirates again have a look at his action in that race then look at his action in the railway he never stretched out like he did in the Emirates his action was not the same
Was it ascot it was he not right or just dick of Arnold thinking he's a greyhound ???
Yet was still in the minors 100 out beaten less than 3 lengths by the winner he did not pack it in entirely I thought he would run last after he went out of the yard
Anyone watching him who knows wayyyy more about horses than I ever will would have thought he's not happy jan was very fired up
IMO the horse was off in comparison to seeing him
Parade at flemington but that was my observation an recollection off him Emirates day
I was also surprised no officials or vets were looking at him in the tie ups or pre parade ring he just did not look right an was fired up an was beaten by the time he was saddled up in my view
But on the day he was not good enough new rider an new trainer in the Autum may see him win a nice race stay tuned
All honours with the winner I was wtong the locals were too good simple as that . No sour grapes here Rommel made my day but there was something amiss IMO

Whilst it is highly likely that a high profile trainer will get the gig next prep, your mood towards the camp seems to have changed- perhaps because you did your moolah cold on a horse over the top. As is so often the case, the trainer and/or jockey cop the blame but I thought you were more open minded than that!

Can bet you if he had his time over again the horse would have been spelled after the emirates maybe even after the cox plate but i'm sure he's learnt his lesson, fingers crossed the horse comes back bigger and better next prep

The railway was a million bucks why wouldn't they have s dip after its Emirates run
Bobby I hope mick keeps the horse in his yard but those trips from tassie are arduous stabling him in melbourne sounds like a good plan
Arnold has carved him up 3 times now time for s change but your right he was off I just posted that I backed the top 5 in the railway as I said TC had none from the tie ups they don't do pre race refunds all in otherwise if they did I would have been lining up after seeing him get into that state
The Railway got me out of a sizeable hole on the weekend that threatened to take the cream off another very good week as had several decent doubles and trebles going into Disposition which came unstuck to the Guineas and then had a decent bet on Disposition.
So backing Elite Belle and Balmont Girl for good results plus the quinella multiple times ended up being a huge comeback and put me just in front for the day.
