Oh Mr IGA if that goes to Melbourne maybe look at Swan Hill the bloke doesn't mind getting in front of himself fair dinkum  that was a very weak effort fair play to PP a tough strong horse

I saw an article where he said he was thinking of looking at some Mares races in the Autumn for Platinum Rocker, some races in Sydney for  Miss Rose De Lago and I think something in Brisbane for St Bro.

Have you a link to where he mentions this bloke going to Melbourne @dungy ?

$394,000 in stakes with a $100,000 race waiting in nine weeks after a short break. He surely is now the front running horse for 3YO HOTY in WA ?

long way to go  - however Ihtsahymn @ $621K would be my tip

Forget just 3 yr old of the year, Ihtsahymn clear choice for horse of the year and 3 yr old of the year. Owners looking to Australian Derby in Sydney during the Autumn. Very exciting for the owners and WA. Pretty happy owner of the dam as well.

TRK, this one is serious. The post on Cur Snake was to create a response both on PTT and with my mates who own him. Worked very well!!! Lots of bites and personal amusement.

With respect to Ihtsahymn, he is a serious horse and a real chance in anything he enters against his age group over a distance of 1,600 metres and further. To suggest one is dreaming is simply crap (Falcon, you are a negative person and someone who has not had much success in this game given your regular posts. Not sure whether it is Damo when I read your posts)

All good, I'm just taking the piss. He's a good horse alright I had him as the only danger to Luckygray who wasn't very lucky at all today. He should have won but the 3yo took his chance and good luck to the owners.

that is a bit below the belt, eddie. funkster said you wanted a meet this afternoon which did not eventuate.

i am not knocking the horse, far from it, but taking our horses over east against the might of their horses and trainers is a pipe dream. admittedly, fred had a champ in northerly..which was evident after he won the railway as a 3yo...something special and a champion in later years.

let us just wait and see.

success.. only had 3 horses...2 have won the other a bleeding lohnro we got from darley...with a vet certificate. wish we had the resources to take it further.

feel like asking mr. plumtre for a replacement....

    b-( >:P

??? How was he poorly handled ??? Paddy rode it a treat got a soft lead JBrown did the smart thing and put it to him before the corner maybe he just aint that good unless he pulled up shinny

Don't think hes talking about how it was ridden, but its race placement. Eligible for easier races at this stage. Better for its confidence.

Good luck to Fred and owners i hope he carves them up over there, one thing is for sure they have the right trainer to do it, if Fred thinks it can stack up who are we to argue that!!!

So you are saying Jimmy didn't inform you Petrol Power was his choice for Sam Trimboli but you chose the horse, I would even go as far to say Sam knew of Jimmys pick before you knew, doesn't matter as you signed for it so it must have been you that chose it 1st. Stable gossip is normally pretty reliable gossip :-@

It seems that someone is stretching the truth

Northerly was a 4yo when he won the Railway and Old Comrade was a 3yo when he ran 2nd to the champ carrying the same weight!

In terms of the ATC Derby here in Sydney, I would think the first two home in the Victorian Derby would be a long, long way in front. Ihtsahym has got to prove he can win stretch his brilliance to 2400m. Polanski will stay all day-two miles is not beyond him and the runner up,Complacent, is probably a better horse than the winner but 2000m at WFA is probably his go. If these two are sound, come Autumn anything else is racing for 3rd.

Could be competitive in the Randwick & Rosehill Guineas which lead in to the Derby. There's several fall-back options around then too

Guelph, Long John, Prince Harada, Shamus Award, El Roca in the Randwick Guineas...there are no easy options. Once it gets to 2000m I wouldn't give him a hope in hell against Complacent. Ihtsahymn is better than Playing God(beat Impressive Jeuney in the KT) was as a 3yo and he finished 3rd in the Australian Guineas.

having someone else sign for the horse is great if you dont intend on paying the sales company. i.e Jimmy. can you sign a few for me at the sales DW i know a good bloke in Malaysia that will train them for me. Damo, Did you make it to the gold coast last year? are you going this year? have you ever been there?

Love this horse DW and owned by an absolute gentleman in Sam. You dont mind when blokes like him are successful. Maybe David's horse mite be better??

Dale I'm currently going through the book and the plan that Sam has spoken about is for the three of us, Jim Taylor, Sam and I, to go over there. Family commitments may stop me from going as my son is on school holidays at that time and Lara is back at work commencing that week. I haven't been to the GC before, so it would be good to get over there. I have looked at the first 400 so far and those whose page I like I have done a breeding analysis. Means nothing of course, as when I see them that may change entirely. A good judge has already alerted me to have a look at two lots that he inspected several weeks ago, but outside of that I think the intent this year is to look for some fillies in all the sales we go to, as the residual is appealing for a non breeding client.
