Hay List goes to the top of the totem pole this weekend...boss almost falls off celebrating going over the line and Moody immediately spells his mare. Hay List then goes on and wins the 10,000 by five.

    any wonder bookies drive Mercs and Beamers with blokes like you around when they go to 1350m she will win by even more HL didnt go that hard she pulled out 3 deep at the 600m wobbled around the bend if it was 1400m today like the TJ she would have won by 5L no doubt HL is a super animal but i hope this win by the Champ finally shuts Mcnair up but wait there will be an exzcuse by Monday ,threw a shoe, had a cough ,extra 2 kg ect etc ect reality says he isnt in the same post code no horse in the world is i said 6 weeks ago HL owners should have been smart and dodge every meeting with this mare because 4/zip now and HL could go to the UK and clean them up instead of running for 2nd every time
Well when bookies are prepared to take 500k bet @ $1.16 on BC, they aint gettin any high end vehicles this week.
Beats catching the bus like you will be this week
backing a horse @ $6 against an odds-on pop is never going to send anyone broke. Putting 500k on and getting beat, be it bad luck, injury, track bias etc, will do it, though
You were not talking prices last week when the tripe that was being dribbled the likes of 10,000 tears ect ect price had nothing to do with it your trying to deflect from your comments your comments were not based on prices they were based on you saying that HL was ridden incorrectly in the TJ and should have beaten BC yah de yah de yah ect ect point is the best horse won no 2 ways about it mate i think you and Jonny Mcnair should share a bottle of gin tonight and discuss excuses
But as i said why wouldnt HL connections pack him up and send him to Europe via Sing ???Bossy riding in Sing there is the jock for you i cant see the reason why you would want to keep bumping into BC as the distance increases she wins by further HL would beat any other horse in the world maybe not Rocketman but why not have a go winning 600-700k is better than picking up 80k for 2nds every odd start

She's the better horse, that is not in question anymore. But that still doesn't change the fact that there is another race in two weeks time and you may yet cry 10,000 tears. As for yourself surely you have better things to do than trolling on this forum, considering all the cash you won on the mare today...oh, wait, you didn't back her, did you?

30% strike rate is enough to make a tidy profit and that is not even considering staking plans. If you are of the opinion that BC is the whole industry, you need to get a clue. BC gives certainty to pea hearted fools like you in an indusrty that offers anything but. The mare has made backing odds-on fashionable, but she is merely the exception to the rule. I can live with being wrong 70% of the time, if it menas turning a profit, getting verballed by dribbling muppets like you won't change anything.

thats all well and good but at the moment he is opperating at a 0% strike rate against her.... doubt will ever get to the 30% you talk of..

saying that im not sure why every1 is saying hay list should dodge her, if it wasnt for hay list being in these races id have minimal interest in watching her towel up the rest of them, if any1 beats her it deserves to be him

I can take the losses mate. can you? Before yesterday they had met three times and she had won them all. You are carrying on like I went "all in" yesterday. I did not. I said she was vulnerable and she still will be in two weeks. But that is probably my last time to oppose her. He can't beat her down the straight at flemington and that is where she is headed before Hong Kong in December.

i might dribble, and might even be a pea hearted fool, but i object to being called muppet!  8)

i probably should not say this, because what i do and how is my business, but i am pretty sure when it comes to gambling i would reach the finish line before you even left the starting block.
i will tell you like any person that is not a semipro would, you can stick your staking plans up your khyber pass, because only fools and englishmen use them.
and only dills would keep making excuses , just enjoy watching the BEST HORSE YOU WILL EVER SEE, and go lose your money on races where you have a chance of collecting.
That's from one dribbler to another!

The great mare is sensational, to keep running the sub 33 sectionals on whatever tempo makes it impossible to come from behind to beat her. If she leads she won't ever lose a race, not that she will lose a race the way she is going atm.

The only danger i see to the great mare is if guyno is freshened up and takes her on over 1400m.

I hope they take Hay list overseas to embarrass rocket man. People are talking about BC but hay list really was amazing on saturday He dropped off buffering who sat outside him all race in a stride and was just outsprinted by black caviar.

I agree Vorg with HL he has been brilliant the last 3 starts but as Dicky Freedman said this morning he could end up getting a broken spirit running into this great mare start after start i agree head to Singapore and take on RM [thats a tough ask also ] get to the UK he would brain them over there i simply dont see the reason why you would want to keep picking up 60,80 100k for running lots of 2nds its still good money dont get me wrong but could win that $$$ anywere i just dont see the reasoning behind this its simply not commercial is it an ego thing ??? maybe the Davenports have plenty which they do but they are throwing $$$ away every start HL could win 1.5-2m going overseas instead of staying here and getting a broken spirit
  • VorgtrafficVorgtraffic    1,755 posts
The way he spanked them in the all aged i don't think he has much of a broken spirit...yet

So you follow a level stakes betting strategy, never altering your stake, regardless of your strike rate, prices available etc? Come on you're not that stupid after all you are in a race of your own when it comes to gambling

using a staking plan and knowing how much to bet in any situation depending on a myriad of factors, are completely different topics.

say for instance the race is about to jump, and there is 100k in the pool, how much do YOU put on to MAXIMISE YOUR PROFIT from the race.
in other words the most dollars, not the max pto, because pto is unimportant, only how many dollars you can likely manage to extract.
oh and dont forget when you tell me the answer that you have to try and guestimate the affect that all the late money from the likes z is going to do to that pool.

    CAN YOU??????

To be fair she has had a pretty good prep. 2 group 1 placings and a group 2 win. She has been beat up a bit though.
