The Belmont Preview by TMP 2/8/19 (still)

West Australian Racing
I still think this is a good meeting; lots of chances in even races; like the fellow who said to his mate that you can't be sure of anything nowadays; the reply came, 'Are you certain of that?'.

R/1 I have already taken 3.1 about the fave and it is out  little to 3.2; the stable are not famed for winning with the most fancied horse in the race.
I took Sassational as a saver becos of the great stabale. But there is a move for the Tinto horse.

R/2 All these new horses with trial form only make this race confusing.
The toppie has led them out last time and maybe the distance might suit tomorrow?

R/3 Pym's Royale is erratic but has blinkers on and the return of the recently successful MP.
Cognac I believe bled last time so has last chance this time.
Glasgow Girl has just the problem of not winning 2 in a row before with the trainer not often doing so.
So I will hope WP becomes boxed and see if Essential Spice can go over the top of them again.

R/4 This is another raffle distance race.
But I am hoping that Here comes Lenni is the real deal as a big improver and just needs good steering.

R/5 I'm off the fave; just too onconsistant for me me.
I am hoping that Retosona can cross him and take running down.
Numbers 4 and 6 go in too.

R/6 This I think is the first leg of the quad.
I had a hunch about the bottom one Why Choose Her last week ; then forgot to put it on my preview; then forgot about it myself!
I am going with her; thinking of possible great upside; and great trainer (how was Double Digit last week?).
She was not far from Arcadia Queen in her first prep.

R/7 Festival Miss is up to 1400m here and on 7 day back up. That past run as fave gave me indigestion.
So I went with Misty Lad; out to 7 over here abd the fave in to 1.85!

R/8 This is not the last!
But it is the main race of the day; listed and $100,000 prizemaoney.

Profit Street is short and used to win like this with WP up in the old days first up.
Don't Fuss is in great consistant form and has shortened; on the way p and does not have the problems of some of the older lot.
Saracino is one I cannot leave out as 3 wide last time!
Rebel King just keeps winning these type of races but the stable now zigs and zags and I zag and zig!

R/9 Free Trade was an off the canvas job last week; what a ride by CP.But he just does not seem like a 1400m horse to me.
Taxagano was 3 wide last time and still nearly won; but out to 14's here!
The stablemate ILWP has PH up this time after what seemed a v unlucky run last time.
Miracle Man is becoming ultra consistant and must go in.
I cannot leave out Multiverse. After all, look at that strike rate and he might do a Mia Dolce; just keeps winning and 1400m should be mo problem.

All the Best and let me know about any whispers from the corridors or in the belfry.

Looking again maybe In love with Paris is just a 1200m horse and that's all just weak past 1200m not a weak horse.Just wrong distance.
