This is going to be weird meeting - Some of the big names (well fairly big) are not looking to flash making it hard to understand why they are in a Wednesday meeting.

Wizard your a strange cat.... Just on being critical of jocks.

Its a dangerous sport everybody knows that but everybody has a choice in life and we can do whatever we want. Without punters they dont have a job so if a punter wants to be critical in a public forum they have to cop it on the chin as part of their job it's that simple. Its got nothing to do with being a keyboard warrior and there is to many people on this particular forum that are biased because of personal involvement.

Like all professions there are very good jockeys an very bad jockeys

I will say this in my opinion it takes immense courage to ride in races how much il never know but it is a very dangerous occupation I admire anyone that has the gumption to race ride

Yes we all get frustrated thru our kicks or when a jock slaughters one we own or are on

Been critical from an armchair is easy in reality been a jockey must take a lot of courage

Fair enough if the comments came from people that know what there talking about example other jockeys owners trainers not just random punters who think they know what there talking about but really are just pissed of they lost there money my opinion

so why don't you tell us which rider you are, and i'll tell you how good you are! =))
it's easy enough to measure how well one rides overall, given the quality of the horses they ride, and various other factors.
not that i ever can jockeys myself.
notwithstanding that, once a punter backs a horse, then he has earned himself the right to make comment. even if it's misjudged.
punters are not the only ones that misjudge are they?

They are professionals and like every other sport, what you don't see are those that aren't good enough to make the grade. For that reason alone there is a certain standard punters are entitled to expect. Sure we talk through our pocket when one gets beat but most jockeys know when they slaughter one anyway and make the adjustment next time.

Funny how you never see punters in Perth line the fence an give it to jockeys like they do in the east

I was at Caufield the day Shane Billy Dye absolutely slaughtered Veander cross in the Caufield Cup

Fair dinkum covered more ground than Burke n Wills

The punters Gave him a tirade coming back to scale very rarely have I seen that level of abuse of a jockey in Perth but man Dye copped a spray that day

I remember Singo chasing The jock who road Strawberry Road in The Arc he was filthy an wanted to smash him

Like a bad meal everyone complains but no one sats much to the jockeys at the time

Tell you what it would be fun to go to the races with Mailman LOL

I like Boutique - Had her @10/1 when she ran 3rd coming from the back. Looks like the 1400m might suit going on her last race but she has never raced over 1400m.
The rest of your tips are totally against mine.

I'm going to have a little EW on both of Steve Wallace's runners tomorrow,

Top deal wasn't too bad a run first start plus being a 1/2 to balmont girl,

Strikes twice is a fair lump of a thing, and her last trial wasn't, sensational but wasn't bad.

I have a high opinion of Shinboner Buster in the first. He is bred, and looks like a horse that will get better over more ground. I would not be surprised to see him in some of our classic races next season.

Like two tomorrow at goods odds. Classitheatre back to the 1000m is her go gets a drop in the weights with the claim think they will be heading towards the outside of the track tomorrow so should get clear running as well. I think if you like Freetime I think Classitheatre meets him a lot better off and at the price worth a play I think.

Race 5 I like Mr Magic don't think he has been ridden very well last few starts and with Chris Parnham going on ill give him a chance. Another drop in the weights down in class and not to worried about the barrier as he should be rock hard fit and able to cover the extra ground if left out wide. Interesting to see what Chris does from the barrier as he likes to go forward wouldn't mind seeing him just sit back worse than midfield and see how he runs on. I think he is out to decent odds tomorrow and worth a play.

There's my two cents to keep everyone happy ;) hopefully its worth something by the end of the day.
