I heard when he parted ways with Puffer that he wanted a good young trainer. An the ones he looked at didn’t come up to the mark that he wanted

Will be interesting to see how he goes forward this time. Maybe just send them all east. Sell the ones that don’t come up to Saturday winner quality, a focus on breeding and pre training only on his property.

Jarrad Noske could be his perfect next trainer going forward!?!?!?

How is the Ballantyne relationship going?

Peters and Durrant have been on and off a bit haven't they?

Along Durrant lines does Peters now drive to Maley or the Albany wizz Rogers?  :D

According to the west the horses from Durant will be split between Grantham, Ikenushi and Riordan.
No decision in First Encounter who will probably be going to the paddock.

Bob has stated previously only likes his horses to be in trained in rural environment--.Trainers that ride there own work like Ikenushi who i have been told has tremendous work ethic, another one that probably deserves a chance is Michelle Hagley with her work ethic and amount success pre training for others . Most important person in stables,is the   Work rider that has the feel & can ride time plus call the   of level
    ability a individual horse has early days. Durrant is down to 150 horses. Maher & Eustace have had a cleanout there down to current 533 horses;

Bob is a difficult man to train for - a constant in the ears of the trainer - would drive you nuts - just ask past trainers GW and Danny O'brien.

The horses are easier to train than a majority of the owners.

Grantham current 45 horses Riordan 26 horses

M Grantham said he has between 20 to 25 of Bobs on TAB radio this morning.

Referring to his current numbers of 45 horses on the books . Not the number of Bobs horses in his stable---- Same with Riordan 26 horses on books. Of cause numbers can fluctuate quickly with horses at pre trainers etc

So he is training between 20 to 25 of Bobs as per what he said on the radio this morning .

I think you would be better off saying that M Grantham is down as trainer of 45 of Bobs horses.

Bob mad not sending First Encounter to Mitchell Pateman if he would train it and would be sending him as many of the next 2 yr old crop as he will take if an agreement could be reached they are best suited stabled at Ascot.

It's not significant but I notice Bob now has his first set of colours sporting a black cap. Anyone know what's up with that? Has been cerise forever!

Someone said on Saturday that the black cap would be the "number one" for the future

I noticed that too, particularly Showmanship in Melbourne on Sat, no clash so obviously a change there.
