Best of luck I could not find it with a torch on a dark night, has some ability but needs so much luck

No luck recently Psycho. Check vids. I think it is better suited at 1200 but for some absurd reason they ignore that despite a brilliant win at 1200 previously

It seems to always be out of luck, think its racing pattern doesn't help but as I say good luck I will not play in that particular race. I fancy Proconsent an Reign of Fire in the last 2 on an EW basis

Reign on Fire certainly a chance though jockey not a favourite of mine

Nor mine but at least it is the regular jockey of the horse

I wanted to find Serenity Bay here as well but I can’t get away from how much better Coming Around trialled than it.  If Serenity Bay can run well then I really want to be the other horse wherever it bobs up - probably the Pinjarra Classic into Bunbury Stakes I guess

Hasn't won, first up or second up or third up, but at the odds,,and based on your description, and the gear changes, I'll have a small wager and be cheering it home for you.....................and me.

Tabtouch have still got the Narrogin preview up for this meeting... According to the preview, scott has tipped Oddoneout to win R2...

Ive had something on Many mansions at the $23... Gangemis, first up...they're a good fresh stable and took over the horse mid campaign last time...
Also had something on Trademin who flies fresh.

Paul harvey to have a good day, looks like money coming for his ride in the first race, have a squizz at its run when 5th with Lucy Warwick steering and the trial not long ago, looked good.

Yes only has to run second last to be proved correct. Should have made the improver statement my best bet  :D

a nice cool day for a bloody change. i've had a bit of spare time after mass so had quite a look at the form.
r4 friar away...read the stewards report on sunset cruise, worth a few loose $s.
r5 just have a look at the trial of denim pack.
r6 have a read of the report on ambergate rose...i think the price assessors have also.
r7 i think the price of the knife is a bit too sharp....red53 is far better e/w value.
r8 the way street parade has been talked up, its past the post...good luck russell.
    r9 best bet proconsent.
r10 time for a beer...no bet...hang on what do i mean "no bet", maybe just a few roubles on solid azza.

I have been following the progeny of Star Turn who is a son of the former top shelf WA performer Golden Delicious. His first crop are only 3 & he has sired winners all over Australia...NZ Singapore & Honkers.
Thus I will be have a small e/w Galaxy Cat in r5 today .Currently $21 fixed.
54 kg & drawn to jump straight onto the outside fence.
Coming off a winning trial.... vision of which won't load

How RWWA couldn’t organise for this entire meet to be on sky thoroughbred with mounting yard previews etc is a disgrace.  Port Macquarie had them all day ffs.  Who is in charge of PR and promotion?

Edit - race 2 getting bumped to sky 2 on a Sunday, that’s got to take the cake
  • tonytony    2,437 posts
As far as Sky Thoroughbred Central is concerned, like it or not Sky has a contract with NSW to show 2 meetings and also with Queensland to show 1. Apart from the carnival and Perth Cup day I have never seen any WA races there until some time after the last from the east,

Still prefer the grandstand side draws for the 1000 so Via Monte looks to hopefully be drawn wide enough, will be hard to beat.
Have a spec bet going on the filly Galaxy Cat at odds too, she trialled alright for Ponty and has had a little break of 4 weeks since..Smokin Joe will give her every chance.

    Like All the King's Men.
Drawn wide but pulled its head off amongst horses last start, think PH will jump it out and let it drift across outside leader, 1200 metres suits too.

Only just noticed you posted the same mate, she ran very well I thought? I got on at 31/6 very happy the fav started after being vetted.
Ironically gate 1 wins the race but thanks mainly to a pearler from CJP who got over to 3 or four off the grandstand rail and pinged.

Slipper strikes. Utgard Loki. 78.00 on the Fair. Only had a tenner on it, as I gave it no chance. So I dipps me lid to Slip. Well done. I owe you a drink or three if ever I get to Perth.

Also, nice each way tip  Galaxy cat from Curmudgeon, Hope you didn't back it for the drum with the parimutuel. Only paid a lousy $4.00 but was $8.00 fixed. Paid 10. on the Fair.

I'm having a tenner on Solid Azza and serenity Bay, Falcon and Slips tips in the last. And a tenner on Minnie Winnie.i was on it last start at $22.00 at Mount barker, so it owes me nothing.

Anyway, It's back to steak at 50.00 a kilo, and no more sardines and baked beans for a few days.
    :D

I remember backing her stallion (Gold Standard) in early markets for the Golden Rose at $126 and $31 the place.... At the 150m mark i was counting my money for running 3rd...... ended up coming 4th a nose 8->

With spendthrift shutting up shop in Aus, someone should pick him up to stand in WA
