About the same as the Bunbury Cup was two weeks ago.....

Cappo D'Oro for mine to turn the tables off that race with the extra pace set by Saxon Saxoff.

Yes he is a plodder and lack of pace in Bunbury Cup didn't suit but it was never competitive. Watch for big improvement today......... Dubai Escapade.

Triple Express in the last. Given far too much to do last start finishing quickly from last after going via Mandurah on the turn.

There is a big tip around for Jason Brown on Living It Large

No confidence and only a place at around the $2.20 mark - Dark Alert had a bit of a torrid run in the Bunbury Cup three wide and no cover for a fair portion, just battled away and has the 59kg impost again.

But think barrier 2 is the bonus and Jarrad Noske might be able to smother away and have something in the tank up the straight to at least run a place.

cappo looks very hard to beat..dark musket the big danger..the 2300m will suit him.
gee, they're putting poor old juicing carrots thru the mincer, needs a change of environment imho...

Agree with Lenience in R2, best chance he’s had to win a race with the small field and big drop in class. I think the instructions to young Tayla might be to kick him and try to lead all the way.

One that could surprise at massive odds is Sonny’s Touch in R3. I liked the way she ran home in the recent trial. 18 months off since her first two races but worth a spec at those odds.

Still needs to get some cover though the fav!!..but seems the quality runner.
Dark Alert can at least place i agree and a maddie could Sunset Superman place?? Want more than 5.75 to find out hope it gets wound out to 8's+.

Udontknow might be onto one in Lenience if ever its going to win another race todays small field might be it.Front running jock steers too..fav is a silly short price whom prob wins bit i'm boxing the exacta up with the toppie.

Missed this one slip, she ran the second fastest 600m in the race and looks to get a much better run today. Well worth an each way, I was just about to go down and back her at 23/5.25 and noticed she's been back into 13/3.6 just then, so I might wait until just before the jump hoping for a drift.

I see that Rock Giselle is now racing in Coolmore Stud colours.

Jay Rooney confirmed on Twitter that they purchased her before the Bunbury Cup. I think part owners, not full.

Hope Jarrad can get some cover on Ramruey..sticky gate it rarely pans out well seemingly..

Staeck has run 2nd on his two best chances from sticky draws..didnt see the 2000m one but saw him get planted the trip on the 2yo..moral beaten.
Punters who take the shorts Cappo will be saying 5 hail marys at some point :D

Gee's backed that in the Bunbury Cup at double figures and absolutely nothing wrong with the run and today shied away from him :-< ...a drifter in the betting today too.

Only heard the race on the radio but did the commentator call Dark Alert second ? Or probably just my wishful thinking.

Dubai should have been right in that finish Lucy is still looking for a run coming back to scale. Steve Smith had a better chance of securing a run today than she did.

That was a great exacta dividend on the Cup but the trifecta and first four seem a bit light.

    Ridersonthestorm you are an idiot!

Was hoping that much for Dark Alert running a drum thought I'd heard it that way, just watched replay and Dark Musket definitely called second! Sincere apologies.

Dark Alert seemed to be diving through and looked a chance, not sure if quite got clear or not. Looked a few of them a bit unlucky in the driving finish.

Poor Cappo..and connections too, arguably should have won both cups with some luck.

Sunset Superman ran on well not sure if it had any bad luck or not.Getting nicely tuned up for that 3200 cup race this galloper!
