race 4 - Swiftly jumps to the mile from 1600 which is a huge ask for any horse but the way it got home last start at bunbury the mile will be right up it's alley and if there's something a miss with the fav or it has on off day then Swiftly at $7 looks an each way pinch

and in the last i'm happy to risk the 3 favs (all last start maiden winners) and go with Celtic Wizard, like the way it's been running on especially 2 starts back behind Medom when Staecky was riding it (check out it's last 50m!) if there's pace upfront and it should just win

Celtic Wizard has only won a Northam Maiden from 18 starts,it's a gunna horse Hash, really like the Morton double today Vintrusive and Reveille

I see it's strike rate but it's a winnable race IMO as the 3 at the top of the market and all last start maiden winners are vulnerable, gets its chance with Staecky back on today, needs pace on though

    1) get the vibe / patrocity
    2) vintrusive
    7) Scarlett speedster / maximus mak (got 15s) are the value
    8) reveille won super in York and can do it again here. If it does the same thing here it should win. Saver on lorentinio

lets face it, its a very poor meeting to "let loose" with a few bucks.

i cant split Vintrusive and Delantero in the next but considering one will be leading and other tailed out the back your money would have to be on Vintrusive

I think Colouer Bizarre is a great each way bet in Race 6. Ultra consistent and hopefully ridden midfield to set up a strong finishing burst. Last start I felt was ridden too close to the speed and was a great effort to tough it out in a 66+. Down to a 58+ meets easier opposition.

Mad one in the last is Compass Point. If it can get the lead it should be in it a long way and give a nice kick. Back from 1600 to 1400m a plus. Not usually a fan of using an apprentice when they cannot claim the whole lot, will go around with 52.5 instead of 51kg for T Stone which may be a big difference in the end. Think it can run well at the $51+.

$4.40 out to $9 mate, has to be some concern

this is a trap race I reckon... Street bandit 23 into 7 and you have the two runners from the Green stable both been well supported at odds, these funny staying races can and will throw up a funny result

punters probably see it leading unchallenged and getting a soft trip, if Mitchell can jump and cross them without using too much gas it'll be right there and hopefully first past the post

if Fremond drew a gate i'd be all over it
