    I would suspend Jerry Noske for the ride on Shooting Iron. It was a short priced favourite. It has a good turn of foot and it was running at a longer distance than it has ever run before. She sat wide in a small field last start and won easily yet today after settling in a similar position, she takes off at the 1200m mark and attacks the leader. She never let up on it and it had to stop.
     You can draw your own conclusions but if that is an acceptable ride, I'll have to think about giving up the punt. That's Rafferty's Rules.

    Nathan is Brent Stanley's brother (Caulfield Cup Arctic Scent 1996), and he rides up in Broome during the season..... Good jockey, good judge and good fella.

    Bad luck BC4E. It sucks getting knocked out of the quaddy when you've jagged a roughie. I'm still alive only because I took 8 runners in that leg. I've got half the field in the last so here's hoping I've got the fast half.  [-O<

    If the trainer drove them up, he had 1 in the first race and 1 in the last, so she would've been standing there all day, after leaving here at about 6am...so IF he did drive them up, that'd ,make it tough.

    Apart from that i reckon she's right in it
