she sizzled home in 33.74 - fastest sectional of the day - and do I hear a suggestion they weren't trying =))
HUGE run off a slow pace - it was only because it was such a small field she got as close as she did
If The Cleaner starts in the Railway she wont have to worry about a slow pace up front [-X
That sectional was only .10sec quicker than the winner(Magnifisio 33.84) though who settled much closer in the run. It's not the first time she has raced a tad flat after such a huge run first up although she was surigng after the line suggesting she is looking for more ground. That, or as @grandstandjockeys suggests, Pike missed the boat. He waited until they straightened until really asking for her, by that time Brown had already made his move on the winner. Read into that what you will? The time in the POW 1:10.08, was almost a quicker than the following race on the same day-almost a second quicker yet still she ran a 33.44 last 600m(faster than both Magnifisio[34.05] & Platinum Rocker[34.18] when defeating Barakey who subsequently contracted a virus which may excuse his performance to some degree?.
The ride was either very bad or very arrogant. I can't think of any other reason why Pike didn't follow Magnifisio when Brown made his move. If he is waiting to tag another horse into the race, then surely he had to identify Magnifisio as one of the dangers? If not, then surely the leader would have been? Although he was so far back on Elite Belle you can forgive him for losing sight of Fuchsia Bandana ;))
MY OPINION HE MISSED THE BOAT .DONT GET ME WRONG HES A GOOD JOCKEY BUT CERTAINLY RIDES TO CUTE SOMETIMES
Im a fan but reckon you have nailed it rids to cute at times and did miss th boat IMO maybe bigger fish to fry next start , i reckon from the locals its only Elite Belle and Balmont Girl can win the Railway

Interesting view by Andrew Bensley who suggested EB would get in on the limit. I'm not sure how well informed that is, but if it's close to the mark she will be very, very hard to beat.
she dropped a point to M104 for her run on Saturday - Depends what they rate The Cleaner at :-?? . If M110 then she carries 55
55kg for a mare would make it tough. Not impossible, but Belle Bizarre won with 54kg in 2006 and Ellicorsam flopped with 54.5kg in 2004 despite dominating the lead up races-completing the Hannan's, Winterbottom & Lee Steere Stakes treble.
Dungy I agree with u its very average at best question because I cant work it out y do they put these fools on do they all drink together or something if u could answer me that be great.

It seems he will be the toppy - so what they rate him is irrelevant ( to him) but will make a massive difference for the rest of the field.
I suppose if EB's owners were doing the handicapping he would be rated at 112 or above
