seeing as a commercial stud wont want him i guess it will depend on the day,you only need 2 bidders willing to bid against each other.anyones guess i suppose.
I will be there enjoying a beer or two and trying to keep my hands in my pockets, never works as normally purchase 2 or so for myself.went to buy a racehorse at last one and ended up with a 2 year old and 4 broodies in foal to demerit, danehill express, henny hughes, hala bek.glutton for punishment.lol.
yeah I thought 60k might be the top end for a commercial stud to try him.. I like some of his and have one on the ground and one in the tummy to him.
If the breeding industry has made the decision he has no commercial value then you'd struggle to see him go for any more than 20k...Sounds silly I know but even that my be a struggle.... Only need one The Rising and he is fully paid for.
One of my mares in foal to demerit, has a weanling by flying pegasus went down south to have a look at it and she is lovely.i like him as well even though his stats could be better.
The Flying Peg's I've dealt with are all pretty hot. Being a son of FuPeg, I guess this is to be expected. I can't think of a successful son of FuPeg at Stud? Haradasun was a major flop. I reckon they're brains let them down big time.

I think the owners would be happy with that but not in this lifetime as he is 12 and not at this sale.hobby breeder may try to buy him.
