Why are you all complaining?  TEST THE ANGELS put the writing on the wall SEVEN starts ago when a close fourth to Kerrific at $101 (was supposed to win that day). The run had 'be on me one day' written all over it.The horse was then unlucky (or something like that) at subsequent Belmont runs before dismal failures at Kalgoorlie when it obviously couldn't handle the track (or something like that).

To top it off the horse was number 10 from barrier 9..... 10 plus 9 equals 19 and that was near enough the amount of lengths it was beaten in its last two runs.

On exposed evidence as highlighted the horse was a huge chance in the race and you lot are miffed because you missed the obvious signs.

    151 on fixed odds...

racing throws up a complete ruffie now and again...horse wakes up and thinks "gee, i haven't felt this well for ages..."

    just like we humans

He is the kind of horse who needs everything to go his way for him to go well and loves the pace on, as seen below in his better runs

    - Apprentices Cup and 2200m track and record holder at Belmont, Ringmiester ran like a scalded cat that day and dragged him into the race nicely for a win

-2012 Kal cup, again the locals went mad in front and set it up for the back markers ran 3rd and first three across the line broke the race record.

Truth be told if we had true staying races in Perth and not sit and sprint the last 400 he would have a much better record. He runs himself into the ground when they crawl.

Lucas with good judgment took the race when the paced slowed and the old boy got across the line.

I'm not complaining!!.... as someone who did have an e/w fixed odd bet on Test the Angels, I would like to think that my somewhat loud and rambunctious cheering for him in the last 200 was inspirational... haha.... certainly was the highlight of my day!

Therefore congrats to Lucas for using his brains for making it a "true " staying race. Should be more of it! Sit and sprint bullshit, only because the jocks make it so.lets see who really can stay..... much more exciting.

I can assure one and all that my ears are still ringing as she encouraged TTA to the line. And it seemed to actually wake a few up in the stand around us, as a few others also got vocal..got a feeling the others may not have been screaming for TTA, but there was no way you could've heard them above us anyway!!! haha

    Congrats to all owners.......

Mailman would provide added value as you get the selections and then as a bonus post race he gives you the reasons why they didn't win.

Shook my head in amazement when Test The Angels won R6. Put a $2 Quaddie bet with The Rising or Modello to win R5, FIELD (couldn't pick a winner) for R6, Ora Dare to win R7 and Sail Maker to win R8. Only had 22 selections (9.09%). Was stoked to collect $537.60. When putting the bet on, I was only realistically expecting the Quaddie to pay no more than $500 (for roughly a $45 collect). I was pleasantly surprised. Made up for unselecting Passion Cantana the week before, trying to bump up the percentage, which cost me a $1,128 collect from my $8 bet.

The trifecta div was very poor so maybe a few bucks went in that direction.
