    Nice win that.

What was Pateman doing? Flippin useless. Been steaming home so they decide to ride it up outside leader on a day like today.

Announced on twitter that Wombies would go forward hopefully for cover.  Genius tactics by trainer and rider.

Could it be Ron's Call day today? Going to be ridden back today and hopefully flies home and would be hard to catch.

What was Knuckey doing ?? Gee he is riding poorly at the moment IMHO ~X(

Lots of banter between Wes and Darren Macaulay in respect to the weather. They should try standing out here all day in the rain and wind.

went out to the track for the 1st time this season and was surprised by the $9.90 bundy's & a wicked feed!! had an awesome day, couple of trif's & 1/4 of the quoddie sore me come out slightly infront at the end of the day.
i mean no dis-respect, and without saying to much, race 2 was red hot, from the money on the books to the way the race was run, i picked it spot on and had a good collect but was still shaking my head after the race, it was feeling like perth cup day all over again!!

$200 fine for not advising stewards of a change of riding tactics with Bigelow. First two starts in the state it is ridden cold at the rear, today it sits outside leader pressuring Tax A Million. (Stable mate walks in). You can hardly call that a disincentive for future breaches of this rule. Chicken feed type of fine. Punters again just left to be hung out to dry. Any punter doing form for the race should have been able to safely assume that Bigelow would be ridden off the speed, not in the manner it eventually did.

Boat race!! Just glad I read it like a two year olds novel, it is astonishing that this is allowed to happen this day and age.

used to use apprentices alot and quiet often would be fined $500 for over use , think the stewards are hard on them possibly trying to drum it into them , where as if it was the seniors they tell them to  f*** off so they wouldn't even bother
it's a fine line with the stewards between giving your horse the best chance and not or riding with too much vigour was another which used to make me think wtf if the kids hungry for sucess and gives it his all then gets fined for trying he's hardest , when your an apprentice . Yes sir , No sir
  • that ride by ganderton on so symbolic would have to have been one of the best this year in wa

I still cant believe that most trainers don't put him on he is one of the most naturally gifted jocks going around

I really hope things go upward for him from here on in

Are the stewards bound by how much they are allowed to fine a trainer or are they just being extremely lienient. Given the flucs for the winner no doubt thousands were invested on it. $200 is embarrasing.

Definitely not the best ride in wa this year so that tells me Mr social media Gando has joined PTT as no one else would write that.

Was Ganderton's best ride in wa without a doubt as so far he has been less than impressive but then it is possible that if a dead donkey was thrown on top of So Symbolic it still would have won.

Am not a fan up to now but am willing to give him another chance, need to see him get the best out of an ok horse rather than ride a horse that would have won regardless of the jockey. It's up to Ganderton now.  will he make it or not???
