    Any thoughts on who will shine if the track is dead/slow. Is it a day for wet track specialists or not??

    Cavallotti reported to be going well with the freshen up, but I wouldn't be launching into anything short. Is an ordinary race, should be in the finish but you never know with these races, something at 100s could easily salute!

    But go big Cav! He would be one of the best lookers going around, but that doesn't win you races!!

    How would you like to be an owner, thirty four horses nominated for the thousand metre maiden at Northam and with all the after acceptance scratchings the field is down to ten our trainers are on to it :?

    Track now at a DEAD4. Would like some more rain on the track personally, Race 8 - 10 Wullkuraka. This horse LOVES a wet track. If track doesn't improve he could be a good each way bet. Recent trials don't show his ability although he worked great at Bunbury late last week. Add to tri, quartet betting.

    1st emerg so get scratched, then some @#%&^& scratches their hores half an hour after scratchings close, and you would have got a run after all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :x
