Their results since their recent sacking of Tody Edmonds has been nothing short of disgraceful. Edmonds is slowly building a team and since his departure has had 8 runners for 3 winners. One of those coincidently beating home a Patinack runner 2 weeks ago.

Here are some stats I have worked out. Since Edmonds was sacked Patinack have had approx 98 runners in Qld. They have won 7 races with 6 of those being midweek metro races (3 of those maidens) and 1 Saturday race being Metallurgical in a C6. So my maths tells me that is a SR of 14:1. As reported, Edmonds was sacked for underperforming with a SR of 5:1. I hear only good things about Edmonds and his family from those in the game and it is good to see him coming along nicely. On the other hand, it seems that there are problems within Patinack. For all the well bred runners they have, surely Tinkler isn't happy with the recent results. Adelaide seems to be the only state producing numbers which are up to satisfaction....or are they??? That stable foreman is young Adam Spitzer, another former Warwick Farm trainer. Wonder if Tinkler is questioning the sacking of Edmonds. Or the sacking of Jason Coyle. Another young trainer who continues to train winners with a limited team.

Who's next????

tivers you need to have a rethink, while it is true qld has metro mdns midweek, as does nsw, and even moonee valley sometimes I think, you can't compare it to WA.
i would be absolutely certain that the strength of nsw metro maiden would be FAR stronger than a rb68(or even higher class) for instance at ascot or belmont on average.
qld too would be i imagine, although not nearly as strong as those in nsw,
not that i agree with running mdns at metro level, but that is another topic.

What's going to happen when Nathan starts "Tinklering" with his NRL side the Newcastle Knights? I wouldn't want to be a contracted player, that's for sure.

More importantly, do you think Wayne Bennett will put up with and tinkering? Bennett wont put up with that.

    I think what happened...

Despite edmonds doing a good job, patinack bought a private training track and ttansferred the horses.( mick dittman owned?) and ever since the move, the results nose dived. Edmonds coped the blame and got the axe....how anyone can work for this pig is beyond me.

My feeling is that there are some people working there who shouldn't be. Their results from the weekend were terrible again. They are running horses in races where they have no chance. For an organisation who have spent millions of $$, they should be getting much better results than what they have. Edmonds stats were strong right up until he was sacked. He came out on Qld radio saying he was still confused as to why he got sacked. People were trying to say it was because of the positive swab. That was proven in the stewards inquiry that it was under the direction of the head trainer that it was administered. Anyway, the current form of the organisation is there for all to see.

I guess when you're the boss you are entitled to do what you want but you certainly wouldn't go to work for him thinking of long service!

How did Monte Foreman affect horse training? And also horse learning too. I know he did scientific studies and found the different gaits but my trainer said he learned a lot from him. And he wanted me to try and watch some video's online but I can't find any. Also I only found Monte Foreman's Horse-Training Science book but that was it. So how can I find more books and videos about Monte Foreman? And also any other videos and books great for beginners, but nothing childish, would be great. Thanks so much!
