The last 2 times T. Brown rode Our Chief it went pretty quick in the lead. Today he could have gone much slower and led on his ear. There was no speed in that race on paper apart from Our Chief and being drawn 12 it was a no brainer to go forward. He's lucky I'm not a steward.

I had it $8.20. Its form was ok. Carried 58kg and only beaten 3.5L by the promising Metal Talk. Dropped to 54kg and didn't have much opposition. Urban Spirit would have been better for me but I'll take it. I only took one horse in the 2nd leg of the quaddy so it might mean SFA if it doesn't salute. I'm hoping it can stick. Just noticed Classic Drop is a late scratching.....I hope my horse isn't the sub :x
