West Australian Racing
Looks like a hard day to find a winner. Just the one bet for me:

R7 #4 Crash Hat Lady (Win)

I really liked her maiden win, leading all of the way. Ran good time and pulled away from them in the straight to win easily by 4L. If Chloe can cross from barrier 9 and get her to settle, I don't see any reason she can't win the same way again.

Wow, I'd like to know what changed in the last 19 days for Kerman Rock.

Lay inwards CONSIDERABLY again from its first up run. Came out of a pretty nice late 2yo race in town. It covered them pretty well today. Maybe it "matured" in those 19 days by turning 3 haha

Maybe when his horses raced in bandages and were trained at Anstey Beach??? I think that was when Greg Harper was outed  =))

Getting filthier. Campbell McCallum hasn't trained a winner for almost a year and gets Prescience to win 1st up at 2200m. A 9yo who off a very plain trial just produced its best effort since coming to WA nearly 2 years ago.

I know how much people LOVE aftger the race comments, but oh wow I hope nobody else in Australia put Prescience in their second leg of the late quaddie

Congrats to Campbell, he's a good kid and a hard worker. Glad he got a winner and hope he got an earn.

its a decent training feat too... not too many could pull that off, even if it was only a Class 3

breaks a long drought for Campbell. took guts to leave a secure job with Gangemis to take a punt going out on his own.
those old irish bred stayers can pull a few tricks as there would be no confidence after a lack lustre trial.
notice he has had a #1 haircut, winter coat completely gone...maybe he was cold and sprinted up to get warm...

Can’t complain with most of the rides on Bob’s hores since Pike has been suspended especially the one just then on Delta Belle but his horses just aren’t firing for these replacement jockeys, is he really that good or do certain horses just run for him

As I said the ride on Delta Belle would have been exactly how Pike rode and the fact it couldn’t lift for Noske makes you wonder

i previously mentioned that, hash. the horses would be use to him as he's been on their backs in work and races since they were 2yos.
you never know he might have a little trick with then, eg sing a song on the way to the barriers. horses get use to a routine and fret when that broken.....a theory, that all.

Had no idea about his health sorry. It was meant to be tongue in cheek.

Comments on here are usually racing related without contributors being privy to other issues eg health, relationships. financial etc so under those circumstances I don't believe Rodent should be lambasted by the first time contributor.

Totally agree. But still, bringing up a neighbouring trainer from over 20 years ago whilst having a run of success is not really a fair call.

Trips down memory lane are a regular feature on the forum and at times no matter what the correlation
