1. Guns Of Navarone
2. Star Glitter
Was a very good open class sprinter many moons ago for Len Pike - Star Glitter, another topliner around that time or a fraction afterwards was Starglow for trainer John Davidson from memory.
Long priced winner for Brad Parnham around 20/1.
Only a matter of time before Guns Of Navarone appears again, perhaps a few runs of 8, 9, 7 then at Belmont midweek on a cold rainy day - 20/1 and drifting...here comes the Gunner! He's actually been pretty consistent to a degree, just gets up rough a few times.
Can't ever recall ( and followed them awhile ) - not reading about a Parnham somewhere, or clocking them at the track, then out of the blue when think there's no more...there's plenty.
Former very good "Daily News" reporter Craig Parnham he would've been related for sure too.

McNaught went for the diplomatic immunity clause in r4 to avoid another suspension i presume?
