considering the diva posted it i'm guessing its succesful spin... a horse that he had a share in I think and got up many moons ago at cricket score odds...

    no, close... much further back.
Tree Top Walk, one of our first winners. We told Dash to lead all the way... and that he did.
not the best quality... but posted this to Danny's page. 12 years ago it was.

yeah, that was the day of this pic.
had form of 6,9,7,9... changed trainer to popey.
was a dead set front runner, but hadnt been leading.
so we gave him 3 months spell, put dash on and told him to lead at all cost.
backed him from $26 to $7 and he won like that.
Was a huge day and a fun drive back from bunno that day.

they interviewed one of the owners (not me... and he shall remain nameless)....

WES: "new trainer, new owners, new horse.... and theyve had a bet on this horse in the ring"

    OWNER: "oh... have they?"

these are the best stories about racing, landing the plunge! My grandad was a once in two year punter and had many mates around the bunbury area and when it was a "get on" it was a get on at $40/1 into almost fav. Stories of him driving home from bunvegas with bags full in the 80's. Unfortuantely he got dementia in his later years and couldnt tell us didly squat... whoever rips up that chook pen mite be in for a suprise.
