Close to my standout bet for the year tomorrow morning.
Dave Chisnall @ $2.40 to beat Gary Anderson.
This is one of those bets that doesn't come along all that often. A player who's been red hot for the best part of 2 months demolishing the best players in the world against the current world champion who has limped into the semi finals and has lost the plot on doubles. Gary Anderson expected to win every match at the start of the year and pretty much did but he has fallen into old habits and now is HOPING to play well. Chisnall has always been a heavy scorer and poor on the doubles but after being heavily criticised for being included in the PL he is playing the best darts of his life. He will walk on that stage tomorrow knowing he will win and should win with a bit to spare.
Darts is almost pure psychology in these situations and it almost makes Chisnall a cert he should be around the $1.50 mark but the prices are reflecting reputations only.
