Thought I would share my thoughts about the year to date for the Dockers players, no doubt there will be a few varying opinions

Hayden Ballantyne (C) - Nothing spectacular from the little pest. Maybe down on the pressure acts and only 14 goals to date. Needs to lift a little

Michael Barlow (A) - One of the best. Gives his all, a little unobtrusive, but averaging 27 touches and over 6 tackles. He almost does it all

Kepler Bradley (C+) - I reckon Kepler wasn't going too badly before his knee injury

Zac Clarke (C) - Has gotten a chance with Sandilands and Griffin being out. Getting his hands on the ball a lot at the taps, needs to do more around the ground.

Ryan Crowley (B) - Gets the opposition best on baller each week and doesn't often lower his colours. Not getting as much of the ball, but this bloke can really stuff up a Dream Team score

Hayden Crozier (C+) - Fringe player who is in and out a bit. Not the worst on the list by a long way. Hasn't been too bad when he has played

Zac Dawson (B+) -  Rossy loves him, and you must admit, he does the jobs that are asked of him. Even pinch hitting in the ruck. Nothing fancy, but not as bad as some make out.

Matt De Boer (B+) - Another who does the job required. Forward pressure brilliant at times with huge tackle counts. Can stuff up by foot, but I reckon on of the first picked

Paul Duffield (B) - Getting better as the year goes on. Strong and reliable.

Nathan Fyfe (A+) - Gun having a very strong year. Doesn't mind the hard stuff, averaging over 25 touches a game. A vital piece of this midfield

Jonathon Griffin (B+) - He was going very well before that innocuous looking knee injury, was a real shame when that happened

Jack Hannath (D) - Work in progress, probably played out of necessity before he was really ready. Showed that he will have a good career.

Stephen Hill (C-) - Injury interrupted first part of the year. Was going well early, he will be very important at the business end.

Garrick Ibbotson (A+) - This bloke is having a career best season, Rossy has got him firing. Touch and courageous, going beautifully

Michael Johnson (B-) - Very important piece in the defence. He was almost gone a couple of years back, far from that now.

Chris Mayne - (B) -  Again, not flashy, but very effective and tough with his forward pressure. 18 goals to date, I'd have him at the Blues any day.

Luke McPharlin - (A) - Must be in line for All Australian. Best defender at the club and leading by example. Terrific start to the year.

David Mundy -(B-) Having a very solid year. Just under the absolute best midfielders in the comp, but is tough and never stops trying.

Tendai Mzungu (C-)  Another player given a specific role each week, which he generally does well. Real team player

Lachie Neale (D-) Only played 2 games, was going ok. Will be pushing for selection very soon.

Matthew Pavlich (D+) - Was going horribly before injury. Looked short of conditioning and looked slow. Hopefully for the Dockers he will be up and about when he returns. Too good to play that badly going forward

Clancee Pearce (B+) Yet another who plays his part and plays it well. Not flashy, but hard and tough and will do anything for the team,

Danyle Pearce (C) - Started with a bang, has come back to the field of late. His pace and skill will be important come finals time

Alex Silvagni (C+) - Just going this year, only played 4, and is on the fringes.

Lee Spurr (B) - Unobtrusive defender who does a very good job each week, you don't see him play many bad games. Another bloke Rossy loves.

Nick Suban (C+) - I don't know about this fella, he is a bit too up and down for my liking. Another on the fringes, and could miss out when some return from injury

Cameron Sutcliffe (C) - I simply don't know how to rate this fella as I can't believe he has played 9 games. Very unobtrusive?

Michael Walters (B-) - One of the best small forwards YTD prior to injury, hope he comes back as well. What a career turnaround.

So those are my thoughts, will do one on the Eagles once I have settled down after todays' game

Mayne deserves an A. Terrific soldier who also impacts.

Very close Darkshines, just below the best 4 I named.
