Luckygray is the favourite in the latest market for the Group I Kingston Town Classic (1800m) following his second Group I Railway Stakes (1600m) triumph over the weekend.

The well-travelled son of Bradbury's Luck made a successful homecoming when he lumped 58kg to victory, setting a modern day weight-carrying record.

The return to weight-for-age conditions in the $500,000 Kingston Town Classic has Luckygray poised for back-to-back Group I wins.

Luckygray is currently holding favouritism with each of the bookmakers listed while Mr Moet and Ihtsahymn are vying for second spot.

Below is a comparison of bookmakers' early markets on the Group I Kingston Town Classic, which will be run at Ascot on December 7.

Will LG start??? After his east coast campaign and great effort on Saturday, would they be tempted to put him away for a good rest?

He actually will run in the Sir Ernest Lee Steere Classic over 1400M against Sujet. Don't expect anything to get close to either of them as they fight out the finish. Petrol Power has a 2kg swing in the weights in his favour and even with the 1400M being at his outer range, I think he will still have enough to win. Having just run second in a Listed race, stepping up to set weights in Group Racing is an ask of a maiden who could be getting easier wins than this. Good luck to them for having a go, but Sujet is a real punting risk in this upcoming race in my opinion.

By the way, Simon Miller laughed when I mentioned this theory to him at trials this morning.

    Massive run Sujet on Saturday

I think Sujet was the beneficiary of the visiting jockey getting everything out of the horse during the race, it was a great ride and I fancy that may be the best we see from Sujet.

the best we ever see of sujet on its first ever race start?  ……more like the best we see before its sold to HK for 500k?

Nothing coming through the Railway can beat Luckygray although Mr Moet is better suited with the extra 200m.

IHTSAHYMN looks the clear danger after the nice win on Saturday. Drops alot in weight, with the right barrier he can be in it along way. Would have been good to see Miss Rose Delago in the race with 50kg on her back, and usual tactics to lead. Could have done a Shamus Award on the race.

True mate re the weight but she has talent I reckon a better jock she would have won her last 4 straight

She was been trained for the mile too good over 1400 in what was a barrier trial for her really

Pace has to be red hot for her she gets back but man can she finish

Depends on the wind down the back to at Ascot as we know but happy to take 16s about her early doors

Yeah I know me an a myriad of punters done on fixed odds but Elite Belle is worth risking what other race is there for her ?

was an enormous effort, first up in that race, to finish where it did against those horses. Expect a great deal of improvement second up.

It's easy to laugh when you have grand plans. Of course we are just smiling as we have the cheque.

    It's just a small difference.

Check yourself Damian, you're getting a little bit preachy again - we've been down this path before. Remember this isn't the 'forum' for your press releases. PP hasn't even earnt back his purchase price yet, food for thought.

I bet Sujet got his back in one start without winning ...

Agree DS Sujet to run second to PP was enormous and if they can get another run out of it now will be sensational. I persoanlly may have taken the easier option and got a win on the board..but i reckon that crew know they have something that can step up to the mark and dont need to prove it with a few minor class wins.

Hopefully Douglas Whyte may spread the word to some wealthy owners in Hong Kong, who just may offer some real money for some of the horses he has seen here.
