Shane Edwards paid too much for Valentine Miss. I remember hearing that he thought it was the next lot and was sitting there laughing to himself thinking what a bargain, then realised when the hammer fell that he had bought the wrong horse.

12k still doesnt look bad shopping to me...albeit she has been a touch disappointing her last two runs she is above average i would have thought.
must be a hell of a trainer to get one from the paddock to winning a karrakatta in 6 weeks. oh well, we can all hope :wink: i'd just like one to get to the races! haven't done that for 3 years!
