So what was Newitt doing in Perth anyway ?

Why have the posts concerning the perceived happenings in the Tatts cup been removed?

    Is this what happened?

If an Admin can PM me and confirm, as gave an opinion and shared a letter i sent - If I broke any rules, I apologise, but unsure stating an opinion and asking for an explanation in any way causes legal issues?

Anyone any imfornation on crowd number yesterday,

someone estimated no more than 6,000
    Bullsh!t. Easily 10,000. Probably closer to 15k
No mention in the press release. Read into that what you will but I believe the number was not as quite hoped or anticipated. It doesn't really matter in the end, those that were there said it was a comfortable crowd that allowed you to move around without too much delay and service at amenities was not delayed. One old boy at Trials, actually said it reminded him of the "good old days" when Saturday's were just good programs with a decent crowd.

Re R5 - Tattersalls' Cup, is it just me thinking that was one of the greatest exhibits of team riding seen? Newitt misses the jump on Royal Star, then decides to drive around the field to lead, pushed hard, slows it then pushes hard earl, barely touches the persuader then stands up 100m out and eases down for last.

Mississippi Delta benefits, all on pace runners affected (and only race for the day mind) and not a peep about it?

    Is it just me?

only a problem when others do it apparently or when willy isnt the beneficary

they are serious allegations (I would say more than just an opinioni) and I note that you have brought it up with the stewards, which is the correct forum to bring that up in... lets just leave it there.

Thank you for clarifying your stance, I'll keep any/all opinions away from the site.

    As you were.

The person who gave me their estimate of crowd size at the Railway has now changed it to 11,000 in line with Perth Racing's estimate which also includes those who went to a concert as a stand alone post race meeting.

@DamienWyer If someone whose job involves crowds of people can’t tell the difference between a crowd of 6,000 & 11,000 they aren’t very credible are they now?

and i doubt very much anyone would have turned up for the band as a stand alone...
my eyes told me it was a good crowd... and the cheer when pikey won the last told me most of the crowd were on him!
