This would be a interesting audit especially in Harness Racing and most probably all codes.I remember back in 2016 when on BOTRA we approached RWWA re the payment of superannuation to drivers but it was rejected. Forward six years and with legal advice RWWA had to pay with some drivers receiving back payments up to 50k. I would think trainers would become very nervous if a audit was to take place.

Where have our carnivals gone?. I've been watching the Warrnambool Carnival and i must say they don't come much better. WA Harness had carnivals Bunbury, Kalgoorlie, Easter and Christmas all gone, maybe i live in the past but one thing i do know they worked. Christmas we ran heats and finals for the Christmas Gift and Christmas Handicap and the same at Easter. The Bunbury round was so popular with the races and trots all in one week. I could see a Peel Carnival working with all three codes being involved Harness Monday,Thursday, Greyhounds Tuesday, Friday and Throughbreds Wednesday, Saturday. Any thoughts. Wouldn't it be good for all the Racing Industry working together to achieve this outcome.

Been watching NZ Grass Track Harness Racing lately . Seems very popular with huge crowds lining the fences from the 300 metre marks on the various tracks with cars and camper Vans lining the back straights. Just asking if Aussie Harness Racing People would endorse Harness Racing on Racetrack Grass Venues in Oz or would througobred Raceclubs not be into it . Asking also if a Shortcourse 1200 metre Harness race at Flemingtons Straight 6 took place with 16 strarters lined up at start how would it play out , would they bunch up like the horses do or race flat out up the straight across the track . Also what does 50 mm grass lenght play out on a sulkies wheels , is it harder to pull threw grass and does a 50 kg driver have a advantage over a 80 kg driver .
